I can say from experience that this book is a great way to get started writing your first LightSwitch app. Sure, the content is good, but it also comes with a lot of code samples, so you can get started right off the bat with working code.

New LightSwitch Book Coming Soon
I just finished up the technical edit for a great new book about LightSwitch called Beginning Visual Studio 2010 LightSwitch Development. While the title is a mouthful, it’s a very concise guide on how to get an application up and running in LightSwitch.
I can say from experience that this book is a great way to get started writing your first LightSwitch app. Sure, the content is good, but it also comes with a lot of code samples, so you can get started right off the bat with working code.
